Dissertation: The Ph.D. thesis focused on the recognition and investigation of crystal structure problems that require innovative modelling for adequate structure description and refinement using single crystal X-ray intensities.  The structures studied were associated with pseudo symmetry, disorder, twinning, polytypes, structure of modulation, diffuse scattering and phase transitions.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests are in the area of crystallography and materials science/nanomaterials and their applications. This includes research on nanoporous materials; nanostructured and nanoscale materials; structure analysis at atomic, molecular, and nanometer range; and synchrotron spectroscopic techniques and their applications.
